The process of writing this book was cathartic for me. I released a lot of anger and frustration while writing the book. Everyday I ran into people, some well educated, that had so little understanding of what was happening to them it was sad. The field of medicine is so specialized that very few people have any comprehension of what is going on. This, and the running of medical facilities by business types, has led to medical facilities being run like resort hotels. This has entailed millions being spent on marketing to make one facility seem much better than another. For many years now, surgery by robotic means has been touted as the newest, best way to have your procedure done.
